This symposium seeks to develop conversation and dialogue around the importance of action anticipation as a fundamental construct in psychological experience, the development of consciousness and knowledge, and in social connection for health and learning. Action as a psycho-motor phenomenon is fundamental to psychology, neuroscience, education, and care. This symposium will explore the cutting-edge of these topics with a view to advancing new research streams between participants.

The symposium is generously supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the University of Strathclyde to promote international collaboration on this fundamental topic.
